The Flir Edge (formerly Flir One Edge) allows you to easily inspect hard-to-reach areas from any position or angle. This infrared camera for smart phones connects wirelessly so you can inspect out-of-view targets—or clip it onto your phone or tablet for one-handed operation. The wireless connection also allows the same camera to be used with both Android and iOS devices, making it easy to share tools with your team members.
Flir Edge images are enhanced with Flir VividIR™ for brilliant thermal resolution; activate Flir’s proprietary MSX® to add visual camera details to thermal images so you can clearly identify problems. All your thermal images and videos are saved directly to your mobile device and can be uploaded automatically to Flir Ignite™ for seamless reporting, sharing, and organization.

VividIR is an advanced camera processing feature that includes combining multiple images for more thermal data. It applies these image enhancements to your Flir One thermal images in real time, reducing blur and improving detail. VividIR upscales a device’s native resolution by up to 3x for greater detail and clarity.
Flir Edge Series cameras feature our unique Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX), which adds key details from the onboard visible light camera to the entire infrared image in real time. The result: an all-in-one, undiluted thermal picture with visible light features that lets you instantly recognize where the problematic heat pattern is. MSX happens in real time so you can see it immediately on-screen.
The Flir One app includes inspection guides to help you find air leaks, insulation gaps, and moisture buildup around the house, or troubleshoot automotive issues with seats, disc brakes, defoggers, and defrosters.
Our third-party partners offer a wide range of Flir One-compatible mobile apps, and each offers solutions tailored to specific needs.
